In 2000, the March Group established its investment management company, March Gestión de Fondos, SGIIC.
From the beginning, we have been committed to independence and objectivity. In 2014, Banca March changed its image, and we followed suit by changing our name to March Asset Management, SGIIC.
At March A.M., we believe that human capital is essential for achieving consistent results. Our management team is experienced and cohesive, with more than 22 years of experience in the industry.
A management team can only achieve great results in the medium to long term if it is able to systematically identify inefficiencies in asset pricing and exploit the management opportunities they create.
March A.M.'s investment philosophy strikes a balance between long-term value creation and asset preservation. March A.M. is an investment boutique that specialises in tactical asset allocation and company selection.
Portfolio construction seeks to create a portfolio that maximises the investment team's best ideas while aligning with the manager's core beliefs, the investment policy, and the risk level of each strategy.
At March AM, our investment team includes ESG (environmental, social and corporate governance) assessments of the various assets we invest in, are investing in, or are analysing. This provides a broader picture of the risks and opportunities they present from an ESG perspective.
In a rapidly changing world, our focus as an investment manager is on achieving sustainable returns for our clients over the long term.
As institutional investors, we have a duty to act in the best long-term interest of our unitholders. So, March AM has developed a Sustainable Investment Policy, (SRI), with the focus on the shift towards a more sustainable economy. This policy aims to deliver a long-term return-risk profile which is both attractive and sustainable.
