Ángel Pérez

Institutional SICAV Fund Manager

With a career spanning close to 20 years in the asset management industry, Ángel joined March Asset Management in July 2023 as an Equity Portfolio Manager and became Co-Manager of Institutional SICAVs in November of the same year.

Prior to this, Ángel was Head of Equities at BNP Paribas Asset Management, a company which he joined in 2016 after holding various positions related to equity fund management and sector analysis at Popular Gestión SGIIC and Allianz AM, where he served as Head of European Equities.

To date, he has received several external accolades, including being named Best European Equity Manager by Thomson Reuters in 2009 and earning an AA rating from Citywire that same year. Additionally, the international Extel survey ranked him among the top buy-side analysts in 2011, placing him tenth in the Basic Materials sector and thirteenth in the Oil sector.

Ángel holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, an MBA from IE Business School, CAd certification, as well as the CFA ESG Investing certificate.
